BA Outfitters was founded in
2004 by Bill Atkinson. It just sort of happened, after selling a rack that he
had built for his landcruiser on E-bay.
The company is “co”-owned
by three mechanical engineers, who came
together in the fall of 1994.
We are currently building
and selling things to fuel our addiction for more tools.
Their love for all things
mechanical led them into their addiction for land-cruisers and off-road rigs.
Currently Bill owns a 1976
Fj-40, Timmer owns a 1971 Fj-40, and Brad owns a 1992 FJ-80. (This list would be a lot longer if our wives
didn’t have so much say in it.)
They all dreamed about one
day running an off-road company to help satisfy their addictions, and pursue a
career combining the things that they love.
This will give them some
spare change to build accessories for their own trucks.

to Bill and Tim and some interesting college-time adventures, Brad was
converted to a Cruiser lover several years ago and has never looked back.
